Team Member Spotlight

This month we’d like to spotlight Bryant Roland, EVP of Marketing & Client Development.  Before joining Splashlight in July 2018, Bryant worked for over 20 years in client development.  He brings a wealth of knowledge in strategic planning and creative direction to our business.  Bryant works closely with our virtual solution products such as 3C (Care Communicate Connect) and 3V Recordings (Visual Voice Value).  His entrepreneurial spirit brings a leadership element to the Splashlight team.  Outside of being a part of Splashlight, Bryant enjoys competitive fishing, painting, playing guitar and being a father to his three children.  Please read more about Bryant below:

If you could pick one theme for Splashlight to turn into a book about the company, what would it be?  It would absolutely be “Do the right thing”. A practice that I work hard at living each day, and it aligns perfectly with one of the key values and culture of the Splashlight family.

What has been your favorite project so far at Splashlight? Helping develop our “Video Triage” program has been the most exciting for me. As telemedicine adoption grows, video triage is the true entry point to telemedicine. Developing and implementing solutions that provide new, unprecedented outcomes is really exciting. Creating a positive IW experience moments after their injury, and providing immediate visual objective care, is changing the course of claims in both outcomes and costs.

What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professionalAbsolutely, being a dad! Watching my kids grow into respectful, successful, giving, humble young adults is the ultimate gift for me.

What are your hopes for our industry? That we never forget that “people matter”! Each and every one of us has a unique story. Find the good in people, get to know their story, and be the biggest encourager of people you know. As we all strive for success in every day business dealings, never forget that people are the most important asset in our lives.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us? I have 3 hobbies that I absolutely love. I play a little guitar every day, I paint (abstract-ish) when I have time, and bass fishing is my true passion. I love being creative and spending as much time on the water and in the outdoors as I can.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would doWow! First, I would look for ways to bless both organizations and individuals that have made an impact in my life.  I would then, in a creative way, make sure my family is out of debt and that college is taken care of for my kids and my nieces and nephews. Finally, traveling the world with family and friends would be a dream come true!
